
We are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented colleague to manage the day-to-day maintenance of our two hotels in Bergen: Citybox Danmarksplass, with 144 rooms, and Citybox Bergen, with 120 rooms.
This is an operational role for someone who enjoys keeping track of buildings, equipment, and everything that needs to function smoothly on a daily basis. You’ll work independently, plan your own workday, and ensure that tasks are actually completed—whether you handle them yourself or coordinate with the appropriate specialists.
About the role
Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our hotels run smoothly. Everything works and looks great. You work independently but closely with hotel management, and divide your time between our two hotels in Bergen.
Your workdays are varied and can include everything from cleaning and painting to adjusting doors, replacing fixtures, and troubleshooting when something isn’t working as it should. You handle what we can resolve ourselves and know when something needs to be outsourced and followed up on.
Working hours are primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but the independent nature of the role also allows for flexibility. Since we are a hotel that operates 24/7, there may be a need for work in the evenings and on weekends.
