If you’re in Bergen going to Mount Ulriken is an absolute must! You can hike or take the cable car up the mountainside. From the top, you get the most beautiful view of Bergen.

If you like it, we recommend hiking for the full experience. You can take the Ulriken bus from the city center (it costs about 100kr for a round trip). If you choose public transport, you have several alternatives:

• From the city center: Take the Light Rail (line 2) to Haukeland Hospital or bus no. 5 or 6 from Festplassen, 12 from Olav Kyrres gate, or 16E from Xhibition. If you take the bus, get off at Haukelandsbakken.

• From Danmarksplass: Take the Light Rail (line 1) to Kronstad and switch to line 2 to Haukeland sykehus. You can also take the bus, no. 27 from Krohnsminde or no. 12 from Strømmen.

Follow the signs from there, approximately 10 minutes. And ready, set, go!
