Kapibara Ramen, the place that will satisfy all your ramen cravings! A small but cozy restaurant with many good options of Ramen on the menu, both as a vegetarian or as a chicken lover. The mushroom gyoza is something you just need to try &#8211; the taste is amazing! Kapibara Ramen is open both for lunch and for dinner, if you&#8217;re hungover at the hotel you can of course order take away and eat in bed.

If you are a gin lover then you have to pay a visit to Brännerian! Wonderful gin drinks along with other cocktails are served here. You can eat modern small dishes as snacks or as a full dinner. Another added bonus is that the gin you get in your glass is distilled in the distillery next door, so it won&#8217;t get much more fresh! Don&#8217;t miss their signature drink &#8220;Grape and Berries&#8221; contains Stockholm akvavit and is delicious.

Fabrique offers bread of the highest quality and has bakeries in Sweden, London and the USA. Here, real butter is used in all the pastries and, as you can imagine, it is delicious! 



The bakery is only a 4-minute walk from the hotel and is a tasty option for breakfast. Our go-to favorite is the famous almond bun and a good cup of coffee.

seaSTHLM is a boat tour company operating from the historic Pålsundet in Stockholm. They offer a unique experience aboard a traditional 1950s Swedish wooden motorboat.



The tour takes you through the lakes and canals of Stockholm. You&#8217;ll pass iconic sights such as City Hall, Old Town, Långholmen, and Karlberg Palace – among many others.

From our lobby you can see both Djurgården and Skeppsholmen. These two islands have so much culture and fun things to offer. You take the boat from Slussen over to the islands where, you can choose between several museums, Skansen&#8217;s zoo or the amusement park Gröna Lund.



Moderna Museet is one of Europe’s leading museums for modern and contemporary art, located at Skeppsholmen. In the same buildinf you find ArkDes, the museum for architecture and design.



If you continue with the boat to Djurgården, you will find the amusement park Gröna Lund. Don&#8217;t miss the chain flyers just next to the water &#8211; we promise a lovely &#8220;flight&#8221;. A short walk from the park is the Vasa Museum, the entire ship that once sunk just outside the harbor is restored inside the museum &#8211; here you can learn about what really happened.



Our best restaurant tip on Djurgården is Skroten. Genuine environment in a beautiful place where you will find incredible &#8220;raspberry caves&#8221; and a fish soup with prawns you won&#8217;t soon forget.



Last but not least we want to mention the ABBA-Museum. This is very fun for every music lover. This year the museum are celebrating ABBA- 50 Years. 1974 was the year they won Eurovison song contest with Waterloo and now you can se the original costumes. Prepare for laugh, singing and a lot of fun!

Djurgården/Skeppsholmen

Follow us on a journey through 500 years of Stockholm’s history. Welcome to Stockholm City Museum. The museum is open for everyone and the entrance is free. The museum offers both historical exhibitions and various temporary exhibitions. In the entrance there is a cute gift shop with books and small fun things to buy as souvenirs.

Looking for a real adventure? Then we highly recommend that you visit the Gröna Lund Amusement park! It&#8217;s actually the oldest one in Sweden and was founded in 1883. The amusement park has over 30 rides in addition to restaurants and bars. In the summer you can even catch a concert or two &#8211; but remember to book tickets in advance! 



The perfect place to spend the day with your family or a group of friends! You have to take the ferry to get there, which really let&#8217;s you see the views of Stockholm.

Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out time is 12:00. If you want to stay a little longer, let us know. You can stay (by request) until 14:00 for free in a double room if you are a Citybox Friend. If you want to stay even longer, you’ll, unfortunately, need to pay for another night as we need time to clean the room before the next guest. You can store luggage with us outside of these hours in our luggage room in the lobby.

What is the check-in & check-out time?

We offer all our guests a good night&#8217;s sleep and extra good daytime sleep in our dark rooms without windows. With the help of creative lighting and warm colors, our interior architects have created beautiful hotel rooms without real daylight &#8211; something we are very proud of! 



Are you looking for a hotel where daylight flows in the lobby but not in your room when you want to cool down after a long day? Then we are just right for you!

What does it mean that the hotel has “dark rooms”?

They will always go the extra mile to provide the best customer experience. Book your taxi to and from the airport at least 24 hours before departure – Stockholm can get quite hectic, so planning ahead is smart! Ask them for a fixed price if you want to know the exact sum.  You can also go by train. Take the subway from Slussen to T-central (5 min), then go by Arlanda Express train from the Central station to the airport (20 min) You buy your ticket on their website or next to the train at track 1-2 before your trip.

How do I get to the airport?

Yes! Our luggage storage is open for all guests before check-in and after check-out. Simply use the terminals to get a keycard for the luggage room. Please note that luggage is stored at the guest&#8217;s own risk. And as always, if you need help ask our hosts at the hotel!

Can I store my luggage at the hotel?

If you need to wash your clothes, there is a self-service laundromat located on the second floor. Laundry detergent is included in the price and is dispensed automatically by the machine. The cost is 50 SEK per wash, and 50 SEK for the dryer, regardless of the program. We accept card payments only. The laundromat is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00.

Is there a laundry room?

Our closest indoor garage with approx. 300 places for visitors are Stigbergsgaraget, Renstiernas Gata 5, Södermalm. It is approx. 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Here you can park both by the hour and by the day. The garage&#8217;s opening hours are 06.00 &#8211; 00.00.

Where can I park?

Breakfast is not included. Coffee and snacks can be purchased at the vending machines in the lobby. We also have a guest kitchen equipped with a microwave oven and kettles, so you are able to prepare your own breakfast.

Is breakfast included in my booking?

At Citybox Hotels, we believe in making sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. That’s why all our rooms are equipped with a comfy bed, a desk and chair, and a modern bathroom with soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Some of the rooms also have a small seating area for you to kick back and relax and make yourself at home.

What does my room include?

They are amazing, right? We get our beds from <a href="http://www.hildinganders.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.hildinganders.com</a> which usually only delivers to hotels. However, they carry different brands, and the Jensen bed would be equivalent to the beds we have at the hotel.

Where are the beds from?

We gladly accept Visa and Mastercard as payment options both on our website and in the hotels. For prepaid bookings, we also offer Apple Pay. 



We do not accept American Express as a payment option, but we do accept it as a guarantee on our website. 



Cash payment is accepted across all of our hotels (except for Citybox Helsinki), but you need a valid credit or debit card as a guarantee. This card doesn&#8217;t get charged (unless something unexpected happens); It&#8217;s primarily intended for security reasons.

Which payment options do you accept?

The metro station Slussen is located just next to the hotel. All trains of the green and red lines stop at Slussen, and the blue line departs from T-central.      Several city buses and buses to Nacka/Värmdö depart from Slussen. Find your best trip at SL.se.    You can easily buy tickets for the subway and buses in the SL app, at the subway kiosks, Pressbyrån, or 7-Eleven.

Where is the closest metro station or bus stop?

If you want to add a member to your sleepover, it will cost €15/NOK200 for an extra bed and must be pre-ordered by phone.

What does an extra bed cost?

We may be budget-friendly, but we don’t skimp on the essentials! Leave your towels and sheets at home; we’ve got you covered.

Should I bring my own sheets? 

First off, we are super happy that you’d like to book a stay with us! Unfortunately, you must be over 18 years old to check into Citybox without adult supervision. But don’t worry; we’ll be here waiting for you!

How old do I have to be to stay with you?

After you book your stay, you will receive a booking confirmation, including a booking number. When you check in, type in your booking number on our check-in terminal, make your payment, and you will receive your key card and room number.



When checking out, type in your booking reference, and leave your key card in the box next to the terminal.

We have free Wi-Fi for all our guests; no secret codes or passwords are required! Just connect and surf away.

TV is available along with books and board games on the ground floor. We do have free (and fast) Wi-Fi so you can stream Netflix in your room on your laptop or iPad!

We don&#8217;t clean your room every day. Housekeeping is done after check-out and once a week during longer stays. This helps us keep our prices low and is also a big plus for the environment! Extra cleaning can be ordered for a small fee, just stop by the Host Office.

The Djurgården ferry (Swedish: Djurgårdsfärjan) is an inner city ferry route in Stockholm. It runs from a terminal near Slussen to Allmänna gränd on the island of Djurgården, with an optional stop at the island of Skeppsholmen.
