Go outside the box in Kristiansand

Welcome to Kristiansand! Southern Norway’s sunny sweetheart, where charming wooden houses, buzzing harbors, and white-sand beaches come together in one coastal gem. It’s a hit with families—thanks to attractions like Dyreparken (Norway’s most beloved zoo and amusement park), cozy boat trips, and ice cream by the pier. Whether you're exploring the colorful Old Town, splashing at the beach, or meeting a lion or pirate for the day, Kristiansand serves up summer fun with a salty breeze and a smile.

All you need to know

You can bring your furry family member for an extra 15€/200NOK/200SEK per stay; just let us know in advance. We can’t wait to have them stay with us! We do love all animals, but we must put a leash on it and stick to only one dog or cat per room.

Of course! Extra towels, a water kettle, and extra pillows are available in our Citybox Host Office on the ground floor.

We don’t clean your room every day. Housekeeping is done after check-out and once a week during longer stays. This helps us keep our prices low and is also a big plus for the environment! Extra cleaning can be ordered for a small fee, just stop by the Host Office.

TV is available along with books and board games on the ground floor. We do have free (and fast) Wi-Fi so you can stream Netflix in your room on your laptop or iPad!

We have free Wi-Fi for all our guests; no secret codes or passwords are required! Just connect and surf away.

We may be budget-friendly, but we don’t skimp on the essentials! Leave your towels and sheets at home; we’ve got you covered.
